I'm surprised the President would take such a risk at election time.
Rick Perry and this group, seem to want to turn our Country into a theocracy. I know I don't want to live under their religious law, that I doubt even they would obey.
An honest Conservative is a long reach, but Bachmann and Perry, it's just a toss of the coin who is the least honest.
Tea Party / GOP don't want the voters to hear what they say behind close doors. That way they don't have to defend the lies they are telling their audience.
Many people know that the Tea Party, in part, has been a racist organization from the start. It was formed right after President Obama was elected, with one of the Tea Party slogans, "We want our Country back," (from an African American President).
Thanks to the Supreme Court billionaires can anonymously donate money to the Tea Party & GOP, for favors to be returned if they are elected. Anyone who thinks billionaires donate money to anything, without expecting something in return, are fools.
I'm shocked that a moderate Republican would become subservient to a Tea Party Candidate. The way he said he would "serve her," sounded creepy, almost like an idol worship.
These "red state" Tea Party / GOP politicians who cry about us not drilling in the ocean, because we need the oil and jobs for our country are hypocrites.
The Tea Party and GOP have been after social programs for years, and this deficit situation is just a smoke screen to help them eliminate programs they have been after for years.
I really didn't expect him to get into the Presidential race, but Sarah Palin is still pretending like she might get in, just to keep the spot light on herself.
They gave Antonio, the "key" to the city for his actions, but I bet the Tea Party & GOP want ICE to send him back to Mexico ASAP.
Huntsman may have surprised us with his science positions, but I doubt few felt he would be Progressive when it came to abortion. In this area, he fits right in with the Far Right.
Fischer, from The American Family Association, says the First Amendment only applied to Christians. I don't think that is what the Founding Fathers had in mind, yet Rick Perry is very closely tied to this organization.
I am about two-thirds of the way through Collins’ 2009 non-fiction wonder, When Everything Changed: The Amazing Journey of American Women From 1960 to the Present.
Florida's legislature has released its new legislative and congressional maps as part of the once-every-decade redistricting process, and the lawsuits are already flying.
Here’s the email forwarded to me today by Jim Lakely, the Heartland Institute’s director of communications, threatening me with legal action because I wrote a post about the leaked Heartland documents:
As I watch this Republican presidential primary season proceed in a manner roughly consistent with the course of the Costa Concordia, it has led me to a suspicion I feel honour-bound to share: I think the Republicans are throwing this thing. I'm not yet sure why.
Rick Santorum’s rhetoric just keeps getting wilder, and today he’s trying to deny that he compared President Obama to Adolf Hitler, one day after explicitly comparing President Obama to Adolf Hitler.
Great political insights Allen. Please keep them coming.
Enoch.
