Type Your Article Here ...I read that Sao Paulo, Brazil's largest state elected an illiterate clown to their congress on the campaign slogan, "It can't get any worse." That is basically the Republican Tea Party's ploy, to make their followers so angry and full of hate, that they would elect someone they would have never even considered in previous elections. But with the help of The Republican Fox News Network, Rush Limbaugh, and the Republican SupremeCourt, which have allowed millionaires and billionaires to buy the elections, it may happen. Some of the Republican Tea Party candidates are really Libertarians and even those that aren't are on record wanting to get rid of Socialist Programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, minimum wage pay, and to give the right to private businesses to discriminate against minorities (bringing back Jim Crow). Brazil may have elected only one clown and I don't know the effect it will have on their governing, but if we elect these Republican Tea Party candidates, we will be stuck with them for some time.

Bubba, you are right, actually I don't like most politiciansof any party. But I do tolerate Democratic Polititians because they are suppose to have the same values I do, but who knows, they can be just a corrupt at Republicans.

You do realize that Democrats elected a comedian to the senate, right? A profession is not indicative to a person's intelligence...

The Republicans elected a cowboy movie actor President, so your previous job does not dictate your intelligence, but it's a persons positions and how they preform that count.

I don't understand the George Soros statement. I just did some searches and it doesn't appear he held a public office. He appears to be very rich and it looks like he donates to Democratic causes. I just briefly read about him, and some of his positions may be out of the main stream, but I didn't read that much. My article is more about the competence of the Republican Tea Party candidates, rather than how they get their donations.

George Soros was and is a major contributor and he does it with ghost companies, just as the millionaires and billionaires that fund the republicans. You guys have short memories, the dems have had the congress, both houses, since 06 this is their economy.Yes GW was not the conservative I would have liked but the BS comming from the other side makes this upcomminig election most important.

      Allan,

I don't know about the Brazilians electing a clown as being such a bad idea. We elected a clown as President who gave the Brazilian state owned Petrobras oil company, 2 Billion dollars to help them drill for off shore oil. Allan they might have the right idea maybe he can convince the Brazilian government to give us that money back. Oh Allan the oil they produce will be for Brazilian use only. I guess Prez Obama has a thing for state owned companies.

Sorry Afloatinasea, but your claim is untrue, go to factcheck.org and you will get the entire story. President Obama didn't have direct connection to this event, as well as his administration.
