Founding Father John Adams' Advice to Rick Perry: Don't Meddle in Religion

It sounds like Perry, like most far Right Religious Conservatives, seldom read the entire scope of the Founding Fathers. They like to "cherry pick" certain quotes, they know that are not true, to the full context of the issue. It sounds like a President Perry, would only represent Evangelical Christians, leaving the rest behind.

It seems like Perry is putting himself in a box, only pandering to the far Right Evangelical Christians. It makes me wonder how he got elected as Governor, especially after calling the Catholic Church a whore. Even though Catholics support his anti abortion position, I still don't see how they could vote for him after that statement made during an earlier conference.

You are trying to understand a position borne out of a concoction of evangelical and tea party thought processes? You are brave. Have fun.

I can understand the Catholic thing, there tends to be a rather large disconnect between the church as an organization and Catholics as a group...

His ''Response'' gathering this weekend, has some of the most radical, racists in the U.S. attenting. Sad. Fischer will be there, spouting his anti Native-American and most other people that don't agree with him BS.

Isn't such an amazing coincidence when you realize that your god hates all the same people you do?
