These "red state" Tea Party / GOP politicians who cry about us not drilling in the ocean, because we need the oil and jobs for our country are hypocrites. When it's oil going "through their back yard" then that's another story, they don't want it, no matter how much the Nation needs the oil and the jobs.

President Obama should approve the pipeline regardless of the environmental concerns, since these States have no concerns about our oceans and their environmental impact. These State Representatives don't care about regulations, so let them shut up about concerns of oil from Canada flowing through their states.

That is a pi$$ poor attitude. I would think you would be glad that some people in Nebraska are finally getting involved in environmental issues - for whatever reason. The University of Nebraska did an impact analysis based on design criteria and determined the environmental hazards were being down graded significantly - thus the concern of residents.

Handyman it is a bad attitude, because these "Red Western" states don't care about the environmental impact of other states, so "what comes around, goes around."
