Mitt has to be off his rocker to even mention Dick Cheney, much less name his clone as VP. Even saying he would pick a Tea Party person as VP to me is a political error.

And I thought Romney was the sane one out of the bunch.

Actually, I think Huntsman is the sanest one, but he's a longshot.

I think Romney's just pandering to the Tea Party base, but seriously, Cheney? He's going to have to pick someone who appeals to moderates if he's to have any chance of winning the general election.

trm, I know, I guess that only leaves Huntsman as a GOP moderate.

I didn't count Huntsman because he won't win--even if Perry prays for him. :-)

It's kinda funny how the TPs claim that they were against Bush and his policies loooong before they were against Obama.

Yet they love Cheney, the brains of the operation......

not over it

And I thought Romney was the sane one out of the bunch.

After the first debate, I thought Newt was the sane one.

(head slap....I never, in a million years, thought I would say that)

I did not see that train coming.

Well, it came by in September. Thanks to the short-term Teapublican memory deficit, it'll probably come by again around June.

Romney needs to wear the kevlar on his face if he's hunting with Cheney and be prepared to apologize if there's an accident.

Cheney may be past his shelf life by November 2012.

How about a runner-up. You know, someone with a similar outlook and goals.

Satan maybe?

Yet another excellent reason to see that Perry does not win the election! A Cheney clone will send us to their eagerly anticipated RAPTURE!

You know what's even scarier--Romney is the one that wants a Cheney clone. That means just about all the repub candidates are lunatics.

Oops, you're right. Well, Perry has enough baggage to scare us. Romney, I think, is just barking up the tree that he thinks will get him the most votes.

He isn't just crazy, he is downright insane.

First he says “a person of wisdom and judgment,”

which to him means Cheney “that’s the kind of person I’d like to have” or a “Tea Party person”?¿?

Is he f-ing nuts?¿?

Then goes on with blatant lies like “There are no bad guys in Social Security, so I don't call it a Ponzi scheme.". The only problem is that he has called it (SS) "a Ponzi scheme" many, many times.

I REALLY thought this was going to be a satire article.. I really did.. I am just blown away with it being "truth".. Why anyone would want Cheney, is beyond me. The man is toxic.

What Romney means is that he'd like to go on a four-year vacation and let his VP run the country.

Bring the most hated man in America into the discussion about vice-president. Who would Romney pick? Maybe Louie Gohmert, or Joe Walsh, or Paul Broun. Or how about Elizabeth Fox from North Carolina or Sally Kern the state assemblywoman in Oklahoma. They would all be about as despicable as Chaney.
