This is their way of creating rage and hate among their supporters.

It has all been a continuous bait and switch game for Congressional Republicans since the 2010 midterm elections. Talk the talk about jobs, but spend all of their resources attacking gay rights, abortion clinics, American muslims, environmental regulations, public education, public television and radio, and labor unions ... while simultaneously blocking any efforts to increase tax revenues via corporate tax loophole reform and restoring tax rates for the ultra-wealthy to pre-GWB levels.

Perhaps if the Left would concentrate on the economy we might also be better off...or not.

Socrates, this article is about the Republicans using a smokescreen. Do you have anything to say about that, or are you going to stick with your sadly obvious deflection attempt?

They are excellent at evading the issue, then deflecting to a different topic.

hi ScienceGuy how are you my friend? bait and switch the most effective tool they have for their base, maybe we need to do some experimenting to determin what is in our blood that makes us immune to the elephant dung, then bottle it and sell it to the right two birds one vaccine, (Perry ought to vote for that)first we bring that part of the citizenry back to reality and second more important we could pay down if not off the deficit only fitting since it's their baby. stay strong God Bless
