I doubt there will ever be peace in Israel when both parties, believe that God gave them the land upon which they live.

" America's commitment to Israel's security is unshakable" said President Obama. I pray so,

That does not mean we turn our backs on the evil done by those in Israel who wish to murder and destroy those with whom they disagree. It does mean-IMHO- that both sides have a right to live without being threatened by the other. The Palestinians must realize that Israel is in it's Home land. Israel also must realize that God called upon them to share what He has given them with their brothers and sisters in Peace.

I don't believe that will happen until the return of Jesus Christ. Oh we will have a false peace, and people will say that Israel and her neighbors are at peace. But when the Temple is rebuilt and the antichrist seats himself and calls on people to worship him as God. Well his true objectives will be seen for what they are by those with wisdom.

Both sides are arguing about which has the right to the land. The land has prosperred under Israel, before it was barren. Whose Hand do you think guided that ??

There will be no peace when a group of people are under occupation. But clearly, what is amazing is Obama's hypocrisy shown in 2 statements he made:

Now is the time for the United Nations security council to sanction the Syrian regime and to stand with the Syrian people

and

Peace will not come through statements and resolutions at the UN

huh?

Maria, I think our corrupt government has shown over the years that freedom and democracy are for everyone but Palestinians. Lucky for all those other countries, they aren't occupied by Israel, or it wouldn't apply to them either. One has to ask, why Kosovo and not Palestine? Can't say it's because of Hamas. Kosovo has the KLA, who we classified as a terrorist organization. Their members entered politics after the war and are now running the country.

As far as Obama's many contridictions, last year before the UN General Assembly, he gave a speech in which he said that within one year he wants to welcome Palestine as the newest member of the UN. Now he is tripping all over himself to stop them, just like a puppet on string.

Agree with you Isabella and that's what many people see. For Obama it is as if Palestinians do not exist, do not suffer. He tals about Israelis being victims - please don';t get me wrong, some of them are - but forgets to acknowledge that Palestinians are victims of Israelis as well. Unfortunately in Obama's book, their suffering doesn't count.

He talks about peace process - which process? The one he was unable to work on? The one he looked the other way when he asked Israel to stop settlement building and Israel gave him the middle finger?
